- • Lead one of the firm’s immigration practice areas, managing a team of 3–5 case managers with clear performance standards, daily standups, coaching, and accountability.
- • Own and drive key practice metrics including client response time, pipeline velocity, file throughput, and client satisfaction, using real-time visibility from the Command Center dashboard.
- • Provide legal oversight and quality control on all immigration files prior to government submission, ensuring compliance and accuracy in every case.
- • Handle complex legal matters requiring strategic judgment, including procedural fairness letters, requests for additional documentation, and cases involving criminal inadmissibility.
- • Collaborate directly with product and engineering teams to identify operational bottlenecks and design AI-powered automations that improve efficiency without compromising quality or compliance.
- • Use the firm’s proprietary AI tools daily for legal research, document preparation, follow-ups, and pipeline management, and provide feedback to improve tool accuracy and functionality.
- • Build and codify onboarding processes, playbooks, and training materials that enable case managers to operate independently and scale new hires rapidly.
- • Hire, train, and develop case managers, focusing on talent development and creating repeatable systems that institutionalize best practices.
- • Report directly to the executive team on practice performance, outcomes, and opportunities for innovation.
- • Drive continuous improvement by identifying tasks that can be automated or systematized, thinking in workflows and scalable processes rather than isolated cases.
- • Communicate complex immigration processes clearly and professionally to clients, ensuring they feel informed and confident throughout their journey.
- • Operate with a startup mindset: embrace ownership, speed, and impact; thrive in environments where processes are still being defined; and actively contribute to shaping the future of legal service delivery.
- • Leverage AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT to enhance productivity and decision-making, and be among the first to deploy and refine the firm’s production AI platform.
- • Maintain active membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario or the Barreau du Québec.

- • Licensed lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario or the Barreau du Québec
- • Proven experience managing, mentoring, or supervising a team
- • Operational mindset with comfort using data, dashboards, and metrics to drive decisions
- • Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude in professional workflows
- • Strong communication skills for client interactions and written documentation
- • Systems thinking — ability to identify, document, and automate repeatable processes
