📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions for the Lazo Platform, a high-trust, AI-powered operating system for startups managing finance, legal, tax, payroll, and fundraising.
• Work across a modern TypeScript and Python stack, building features that enable startup founders to handle incorporation, compliance, and accountability with precision.
• Take product specs from concept to production, owning end-to-end delivery including backend, frontend, testing, and deployment.
• Write Gherkin/BDD tests before writing code — no feature is considered valid without a corresponding test.
• Develop frontend components using Next.js 16 (App Router, React Server Components), React 19, and TypeScript, organized with Feature-Sliced Design (FSD).
• Build and maintain backend services using FastAPI (Python 3.11), async SQLAlchemy 2.0, and PostgreSQL, ensuring secure handling of sensitive data like SSNs, EINs, passports, bank accounts, and cap tables.
• Implement tenant isolation, auditability, and mask-on-read protocols for all sensitive data to meet SOC 2, GDPR, and CCPA compliance standards.
• Contribute to technical decisions with conviction — propose, question, and improve architecture, tooling, and workflows.
• Use AI tools (Claude, Claude Code, MCP) daily as integral parts of the development workflow, not as experimental add-ons.
• Collaborate directly with product management, design, and engineering teams to deeply understand problems before solving them.
• Participate in a CI/CD pipeline built on GitHub Actions, Docker, and Azure Container Apps, ensuring reliable and repeatable deployments.
• Maintain test coverage across layers: unit and integration tests with Vitest + vitest-cucumber (TypeScript), pytest-bdd + httpx (FastAPI), and end-to-end tests with Playwright.
• Work within an Nx polyglot monorepo using pnpm workspaces, ensuring clean separation and scalability across services.
• Prioritize security, data integrity, and auditability above availability in all engineering decisions.
• Operate in a specs-driven development environment where clear requirements directly translate into executable code and tests.
• Maintain advanced English proficiency to communicate effectively with a globally distributed team and document complex systems clearly.

🎯 Requirements

• Solid fullstack experience in production environments with both frontend (React/Next.js) and backend (Python/FastAPI) systems
• Strong command of TypeScript, React 19, Next.js 16 (App Router, React Server Components), and Feature-Sliced Design
• Experience with PostgreSQL and ORMs such as SQLAlchemy or Prisma
• Familiarity with async, event-driven architectures and RESTful API design
• Experience writing unit, integration, and BDD/Gherkin tests
• Advanced English proficiency
