- • Lead the design, development, and delivery of production-grade AI systems that automate insurance workflows including quotations, policy issuance, endorsements, claims, and customer operations.
- • Architect AI orchestration layers that integrate LLMs, backend services, and business workflows to enable reliable, scalable automation across global products.
- • Own end-to-end AI system design including inference pipelines, request routing, caching strategies, and fallback mechanisms to ensure system resilience and low latency.
- • Drive engineering decisions focused on optimizing latency, reliability, cost-efficiency, and scalability of AI services in high-volume production environments.
- • Implement and maintain comprehensive observability systems including logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting for AI workflows and distributed components.
- • Review and guide backend AI implementations across engineering teams to ensure alignment with architectural standards and production best practices.
- • Collaborate closely with product, backend, DevOps, and operations teams to ship end-to-end AI features that directly impact real users and business outcomes.
- • Debug complex, high-scale production issues across distributed AI systems and lead root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- • Define and enforce engineering standards, coding practices, and system design principles for AI system development across the organization.
- • Mentor engineers, elevate technical execution quality, and foster a culture of ownership, reliability, and technical excellence within the engineering team.
- • Ensure AI capabilities are deeply integrated into global insurance workflows, enabling seamless automation across Southeast Asia and international markets.
- • Maintain hands-on involvement in writing and reviewing production code while leading technical strategy and system architecture decisions.
- • Operate in a fast-paced, globally distributed engineering environment with teams across multiple countries, delivering high-impact AI systems with minimal latency and maximum reliability.
- • Translate AI model capabilities into robust, maintainable, and scalable backend systems that support rapid iteration without compromising system stability.
- • Champion modern engineering practices focused on scalability, observability, and operational excellence in AI-powered insurance platforms.
- • Drive outcomes where AI systems operate with high uptime, predictable performance, and rapid incident resolution, directly improving customer experience and operational efficiency.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong backend or AI engineering experience in production environments
- • Experience building or scaling AI systems (LLMs, embeddings, recommendation systems, or automation workflows)
- • Strong system design skills with experience in distributed systems
- • Experience with production inference pipelines and AI orchestration
- • Strong debugging ability in high-scale, latency-sensitive environments
- • Experience with observability, monitoring, and incident response
