📋 Description

  • As a Lead Analyst, Business Development Operations at Spreetail, you will be at the forefront of driving strategic growth and operational excellence within our dynamic ecommerce ecosystem. This pivotal role is designed for a results-oriented individual who thrives on leveraging data to inform critical business decisions and optimize the performance of our business development revenue engine. You will be instrumental in shaping how we identify, evaluate, and onboard new brands, directly contributing to Spreetail's mission of propelling brands to increase their global ecommerce market share while simultaneously improving their operational costs.
  • Your responsibilities will span a wide spectrum, from conducting in-depth market research and competitive analysis to developing sophisticated financial models and operational frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Development, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, to ensure seamless execution of strategies and to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains. This role demands a unique blend of analytical rigor and practical, hands-on operational involvement, making you a key player in strengthening our revenue generation capabilities.
  • You will be tasked with analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development activities, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to leadership. This includes evaluating the effectiveness of our outreach strategies, the performance of our brand partnerships, and the overall health of our sales pipeline. Your analytical prowess will be crucial in forecasting future revenue, assessing market opportunities, and mitigating potential risks, thereby enabling Spreetail to make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • A significant part of your role will involve developing and refining operational processes that support the business development lifecycle. This could include streamlining the onboarding process for new brands, optimizing contract management workflows, or enhancing our CRM system's utility for the BD team. You will be expected to not only identify areas for improvement but also to actively participate in the implementation of solutions, ensuring they are practical, scalable, and aligned with Spreetail's overarching business objectives.
  • Furthermore, you will play a key role in building and maintaining robust reporting dashboards and analytical tools. These tools will provide clear visibility into the performance of our business development efforts, enabling stakeholders across the organization to understand progress, identify challenges, and make timely adjustments. Your ability to translate complex data into clear, concise, and compelling narratives will be essential in influencing strategic direction and driving consensus.
  • This position offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on a rapidly growing company. Spreetail is recognized as one of the fastest-growing ecommerce companies in history, and your contributions as a Lead Analyst will be directly linked to this continued success. We foster a culture of accountability, where your work and your results are valued and recognized. We are committed to supporting your career progression, providing opportunities for advancement and promotion for those who demonstrate initiative, drive, and a commitment to achieving ambitious goals.
  • You will be empowered by Spreetail's 'Work Your Way' philosophy, which offers the flexibility to choose your most effective work environment each week, whether that's remote, at a coffee shop, or in the office. While embracing this flexibility, we also value in-person collaboration. Therefore, you can expect quarterly team gatherings in Lincoln for focused collaboration, team building, community engagement, and company-wide meetings. This hybrid approach ensures both individual autonomy and meaningful collective connection, fostering a well-rounded and engaging work experience.
  • In essence, the Lead Analyst, Business Development Operations is a critical enabler of Spreetail's growth strategy. You will be the go-to expert for data-driven insights and operational improvements within the business development function, ensuring that our revenue engine is optimized for maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Your ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and execute with precision will be paramount to your success and the success of the team.
