  • • As a Lead Sales Analyst at Homebase Labs Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping the company's revenue strategy and optimizing its sales operations through deep analytical insights. This role is pivotal in driving the success of our sales and RevOps functions, focusing on critical areas such as pipeline health, territory performance, and sales representative productivity. You will serve as the analytical backbone, empowering leadership with data-driven decision-making capabilities to accelerate growth and enhance efficiency across the entire sales funnel, from initial lead generation to successful closed-won deals.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to partner closely with Sales, RevOps, and Marketing leadership. This collaboration will involve surfacing actionable insights that directly influence go-to-market strategies, the design of sales compensation plans, and the meticulous process of quota planning. If you are passionate about owning and refining complex analytical systems, leveraging data to steer sales strategy, and developing scalable tools that transcend individual requests, this position offers a unique and impactful opportunity.
  • • A key contribution will be owning pipeline health analytics. This involves building and maintaining comprehensive reporting mechanisms that track deal velocity, stage conversion rates, win/loss percentages, and forecast accuracy. The goal is to provide sales leadership with a consistently reliable and real-time view of the business's performance and trajectory.
  • • You will collaborate with RevOps and Sales leadership to conduct thorough evaluations of Return on Investment (ROI) across different go-to-market motions and sales channels. This analysis will pinpoint which strategies are effectively driving revenue and identify areas that require optimization or reallocation of resources.
  • • Developing end-to-end attribution models and performing detailed lead source analysis are crucial. By connecting marketing efforts to pipeline generation and ultimately to closed revenue, you will provide essential data to inform marketing spend, refine targeting strategies, and maximize campaign effectiveness.
  • • A significant aspect of the role is building and maintaining a clear, consistent sales metric framework. This ensures that key performance indicators (KPIs) related to pipeline, sales activities, and overall performance are uniformly defined, understood, and trusted across the Sales and GTM organizations, fostering alignment and accountability.
  • • You will proactively identify and communicate potential risks and emerging opportunities within the sales pipeline. This includes spotting pipeline gaps, recognizing trends in sales representative performance, and detecting signals related to deal quality before they become significant issues for leadership.
  • • A core objective is to build and deploy scalable, self-serve analytical tools, such as interactive dashboards and analytical notebooks. These tools will empower sales representatives, managers, and executives to monitor their performance independently, reducing reliance on ad hoc data requests and fostering a data-informed culture.
  • • You will be responsible for translating intricate analytical findings into concise, executive-ready narratives. These insights will be critical in guiding strategic decisions regarding headcount allocation, compensation structures, territory design, and overall go-to-market investment.
  • • Championing AI-assisted analytics workflows is encouraged. This involves leveraging artificial intelligence to automate recurring reporting tasks, accelerate the pace of analysis, and assist the broader sales and operations teams in utilizing data more effectively and efficiently.
  • • Close collaboration with data engineering and RevOps teams is essential to ensure the integrity of CRM data, the accuracy of event tracking, and the completeness of instrumentation for new sales initiatives and motions, thereby maintaining a high standard of data quality.
  • • This role offers a high-leverage opportunity to influence the measurement and optimization of the entire sales funnel, making a tangible impact on Homebase's growth and success.
