📋 Description

• Lead Data Governance Analyst role responsible for owning and scaling enterprise data governance processes end-to-end, ensuring data is trusted, well-defined, and fit for use across the organization.
• Day-to-day activities include owning execution of the data governance operating model, driving creation and maintenance of governance artifacts (business glossary, data definitions, CDEs, metadata, lineage), establishing data owner/steward roles, creating policies and procedures, tracking governance adoption via metrics, serving as escalation point for governance exceptions, and executing RFPs.
• Progressive Leasing LLC is a leading FinTech provider of lease-to-own solutions, a subsidiary of PROG Holdings, with an entrepreneurial, high-ownership culture focused on data-driven products and rigorous analysis.
• The role offers opportunity to shape and evolve the data governance operating model, gain visibility across business and technical domains, and develop leadership skills in a growing FinTech environment.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in data governance, data management, analytics, data quality, or related disciplines
• A Master’s degree
• Demonstrated experience operating (not just designing) a data governance program
• Proven ability to operate in ambiguity and bring structure to evolving environments
• Experience working cross-functionally with business, analytics, engineering, and risk/compliance stakeholders
