  • • As the Lead, Data Quality at ServiceTitan, you will be instrumental in establishing and advancing the integrity of our enterprise data assets, ensuring they are accurate, complete, reliable, and readily available for strategic decision-making. This pivotal role is designed for a visionary leader who is passionate about data governance and eager to leverage cutting-edge AI and automation technologies to build a proactive data quality framework.
  • • You will independently spearhead data governance initiatives, fostering strong partnerships with data engineers, data scientists, business unit leaders, and other key stakeholders to collaboratively address complex data quality and governance challenges. Your leadership will be crucial in defining and implementing best practices across the organization.
  • • A core responsibility will be the development and meticulous maintenance of essential data governance artifacts, including comprehensive data dictionaries, detailed data lineage documentation, and thorough data profiles. These resources will serve as the foundation for understanding and managing our data landscape.
  • • You will champion a culture of data quality by conducting in-depth, root-cause analysis of intricate data quality issues. This involves not just identifying problems but deeply understanding their origins to implement effective and lasting solutions.
  • • This role requires you to mentor and guide data quality analysts, acting as a subject matter expert and a vocal advocate for data quality and governance principles throughout ServiceTitan. You will be responsible for clearly communicating data-related risks, progress, and opportunities to a diverse audience, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in.
  • • A significant aspect of your contribution will be designing, implementing, and automating a robust data control framework. You will leverage AI tools and advanced analytical techniques to create scalable, efficient solutions that proactively prevent data quality issues before they impact the business. This includes developing and implementing sophisticated data quality checks, defining clear rules, and establishing key metrics.
  • • You will lead the end-to-end process for managing data quality issues, from creating detailed Jira tickets to collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution, thorough root cause analysis (RCA), and the implementation of effective remediation plans.
  • • A proactive approach is essential; you will identify and implement continuous process improvements across workflows and tools. This self-starter role demands the ability to quickly recognize opportunities for enhancement and execute them with minimal oversight.
  • • You will proactively identify and define new data validations and checks, anticipating potential quality issues and implementing preventative measures to shift our data management strategy from a reactive to a proactive stance.
  • • You will take ownership of data source identification, establish and monitor controls, and oversee the overall data quality framework and management processes, ensuring a high level of data integrity across all critical systems.
  • • A key function will be understanding the downstream impacts of data changes and effectively communicating these implications to relevant teams, ensuring that data modifications are managed with full awareness of their consequences.
  • • You will play a crucial role in influencing other teams to adopt and adhere to established data governance processes and procedures, fostering a company-wide commitment to data excellence.
