📋 Description

• • Own the strategic roadmap for Casino & Sportsbook Personalization at DraftKings, translating ambitious business goals into a multi-quarter technical plan that increases customer lifetime value, engagement, and conversion across every touchpoint.
• • Architect, train, and productionize advanced machine-learning models—supervised, reinforcement, and generative—that predict user preferences in real time, serving millions of personalized recommendations daily with sub-100 ms latency.
• • Lead a cross-functional squad of data scientists, ML engineers, and product managers; set technical standards, review code, run design reviews, and mentor individual contributors so the team ships secure, scalable, and explainable models.
• • Partner with stakeholders in Product, Marketing, and Compliance to translate fuzzy business questions (“How do we surface the right slot to the right user at the right moment?”) into crisp ML problems with measurable KPIs and guardrails.
• • Design and evolve a modern MLOps stack—feature stores, model registries, A/B testing frameworks, and real-time feature pipelines—ensuring reproducibility, automated retraining, and seamless rollback capabilities.
• • Champion data quality across petabyte-scale clickstream, transactional, and third-party data; define schemas, lineage, and governance policies that satisfy both gaming-regulatory audits and model-performance needs.
• • Present insights, model lift, and ROI to C-suite and Board audiences, translating complex statistical concepts into clear narratives that influence multi-million-dollar roadmap decisions.
• • Stay ahead of the curve—experiment with cutting-edge techniques such as graph neural networks for user-item interactions, transformer-based sequence models for bet-history prediction, and privacy-preserving federated learning.
• • Foster a culture of ethical AI, ensuring fairness, transparency, and responsible gaming principles are baked into every algorithm we ship.
