  • • Own end-to-end revenue cycle management (RCM) for Sailor Health, responsible for sustaining top 5% industry KPIs including net collection rate, touchless claim rates, denial rates, days in AR, and cost to collect.
  • • Serve as the business owner and product manager for Sailor’s AI-native RCM stack, co-authoring product roadmaps with engineering and shipping RCM-focused tools and workflows.
  • • Design and scale AI-driven workflows across claims management, denial resolution, QA, reconciliation, payment posting, and payer operations to increase automation and reduce manual effort.
  • • Build and deploy real-time RCM reporting dashboards and operational visibility tools to empower cross-functional teams with data-driven insights.
  • • Identify and eliminate reimbursement leakage, process bottlenecks, and inefficiencies across the revenue cycle through deep data analysis and operational experimentation.
  • • Lead credentialing, enrollment, fee schedule integrity, and payer relationship operations in close partnership with the Payer Growth team.
  • • Ensure the patient billing experience aligns with Sailor’s 5-star standard, making billing transparent, respectful, and seamless for older adults and their families.
  • • Recruit, manage, and scale the first RCM team at Sailor Health, building a high-performing function from the ground up.
  • • Collaborate shoulder-to-shoulder with co-founders, Engineering, Product, Payer Growth, and Patient Growth teams to align RCM strategy with company-wide goals.
  • • Roll up your sleeves to write SQL queries, build internal tools, and execute hands-on operational tasks — no task is too small or too large.
  • • Drive continuous improvement by leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude, Codex) to automate tasks, enhance decision-making, and 10x output across RCM workflows.
  • • Maintain operational rigor while preserving a patient-first mindset, ensuring billing processes reflect dignity and honor for older adults.
  • • Balance speed and precision: operate with urgency while maintaining accuracy in high-stakes financial and regulatory environments.
  • • Act as the primary point of contact for all RCM-related decisions, owning outcomes from claim submission through final payment and patient communication.
  • • Partner with external vendors and internal systems to optimize the RCM ecosystem while maintaining in-house control over core AI-native capabilities.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 4+ years of relevant experience leading RCM at a digital health company or in an operator role at a tech-enabled RCM company
  • • Medicare / Medicare Advantage experience is a strong plus
  • • Proven track record as a top performer in high-intensity, fast-paced environments
  • • Strong data-driven mindset with proficiency in spreadsheets and preferred SQL experience
  • • Customer-obsessed approach with deep understanding of how RCM impacts patient experience
  • • Excitement for using AI tools to automate workflows and drive operational 10x gains
