- • Lead Financial Reporting Specialist - Statutory role managing annual external audits, preparation of statutory financial statements and reports, and local regulatory compliance for legal entities in the Netherlands, with potential support for Belgium and Luxembourg entities.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing auditor relationships, planning and executing audit activities, reconciling statutory financial information, coordinating with tax teams, ensuring timely regulatory filings, presenting financial statements to the Board of Directors, and advising on technical accounting matters.
- • Part of the Controllership team supporting GE Vernova businesses operating through Dutch legal entities, contributing to global energy innovation through accurate and compliant financial reporting.
- • Opportunity to deepen expertise in Dutch GAAP, IFRS, and multi-GAAP reporting while leading process improvements, managing cross-border financial operations, and influencing financial transparency and compliance across international entities.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or business-related field with progressive accounting or finance experience
- • Substantial experience in audit, tax, and accounting
- • Fluency in Dutch and English
- • Dutch GAAP (NL GAAP) expertise and IFRS proficiency
- • Extensive experience with financial systems such as Oracle, Hyperion, FDL, or similar tools
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to link financial results to operational performance
