📋 Description

• As a Lead Full Stack Engineer at CoverGo Technologies Limited, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our cutting-edge SaaS platform, driving innovation and technical excellence within a globally recognized Insurtech leader. This role is pivotal in guiding the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of our sophisticated insurance enterprise software solutions, directly contributing to our mission of making insurance 100% digital and accessible worldwide. You will be the technical compass for the engineering team, ensuring the delivery of scalable, efficient, and high-quality software that meets the evolving needs of our enterprise clients like AXA, Bupa, and MSIG.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will be multifaceted and dynamic, reflecting the comprehensive nature of leading a full-stack engineering effort. You will take the helm in architecting and developing robust features for our no-code insurance platform, spanning health, life, and P&C insurance sectors. This involves deep engagement with both front-end technologies, such as Vue or React, and back-end frameworks like .NET Core and C#, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. You will be the primary technical advisor, guiding technology selection, defining architectural patterns, and championing best practices across the entire development lifecycle. A significant part of your role will involve collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate complex business requirements and technical concepts into elegant, user-centric solutions. This collaboration is key to ensuring a cohesive product vision and delivering an exceptional user experience for our diverse client base.
• A critical aspect of your leadership will be focused on performance optimization. You will be responsible for ensuring our platform can effortlessly handle substantial datasets and high volumes of user traffic, maintaining a smooth, responsive, and reliable experience for all users. This includes proactive identification and resolution of performance bottlenecks. Furthermore, you will champion a culture of quality through rigorous code reviews, enforcing coding standards, and driving the adoption of TDD (Test-Driven Development) principles. Your commitment to quality will extend to investigating and promptly resolving bugs, thereby upholding the platform's integrity and reliability. Security and compliance are paramount; you will ensure that all development adheres to the highest web security best practices and relevant industry regulations, safeguarding sensitive insurance data.
• You will also play a crucial role in fostering innovation and continuous improvement within the team. This involves staying at the forefront of emerging technologies, frameworks, and software development methodologies, and guiding the team to leverage these advancements to maintain our competitive edge. Designing the platform with scalability and flexibility in mind is essential, ensuring it can adapt to new features and accommodate growth in our user base without compromising performance. Beyond technical contributions, you will be a mentor and technical leader to junior developers, actively supporting their professional growth, sharing your expertise, and empowering them to contribute effectively to the team's success and the company's objectives. Your willingness to align with Canada timezone for client calls and project go-lives is vital for seamless international collaboration.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience of 8+ years as a Full Stack Engineer, with a track record of leading complex SaaS applications.
• Strong technical background with proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies, including JavaScript, Vue, .NET Core, C#, GraphQL, MongoDB, Docker.
• Minimum 2 years in a lead/manager role, able to guide and ensure development of teams.
• Willingness to work under Canada timezone for client calls and project go-live (GMT -7 to GMT-4).
