- • Partner closely with Team Leads and Managers across the Patient Experience team to provide day-to-day HR support on employee relations, performance management, and people coaching.
- • Act as a trusted advisor on complex people matters including absence, conduct, wellbeing, probation reviews, and employee relations investigations.
- • Support the full employee lifecycle from induction and probation through to progression and offboarding, ensuring alignment with company values and processes.
- • Coach and develop managers to lead confidently, effectively, and in accordance with company culture, particularly in high-pressure, fast-paced operational environments.
- • Collaborate with recruitment and onboarding teams to ensure a seamless and positive experience for new hires joining the Patient Experience function.
- • Lead and support employee relations matters including formal investigations, performance improvement plans, and welfare discussions with sensitivity and fairness.
- • Work alongside the Head of People & Talent to design, implement, and improve key people initiatives such as engagement surveys, performance check-ins, recognition programs, and manager development frameworks.
- • Use employee feedback, data trends, and operational insights to proactively identify systemic people issues and drive targeted solutions.
- • Ensure consistent application and communication of HR policies in alignment with UK employment law and best practices.
- • Build and maintain strong, visible relationships across operational teams to become a trusted and accessible People partner within the business.
- • Support organisational growth and change initiatives as the company scales rapidly, helping teams adapt to evolving structures and expectations.
- • Operate onsite with Montu UK’s South African partner, Mindpearl, while working in close alignment with UK-based teams and business hours.
- • Maintain a hands-on, people-first approach in a dynamic startup environment characterised by variety and occasional chaos.
- • Contribute to process improvements in HR systems and workflows, with a focus on scalability and employee experience.
- • Remain self-sufficient in a remote-working context while maintaining high levels of collaboration with UK stakeholders.
- • Embed a culture of continuous feedback, accountability, and performance excellence across frontline and customer-facing teams.
- • Translate HR strategy into practical, actionable guidance for managers navigating complex people dynamics in a regulated healthcare environment.
