• • In this capacity, you will oversee and manage an Insights Analyst based in India, while also fostering strong collaborative relationships with your counterparts located in the UK. This cross-geographical collaboration is key to our global data strategy.
• • You will be assigned to a specific business area, serving as its dedicated data expert. In this role, you will work intimately with the General Manager and their team members, providing in-depth analysis and developing sophisticated data products. These tools and insights will empower them to make critical decisions aimed at enhancing profit performance and driving strategic growth.
• • Furthermore, you will act as the primary representative of the broader Data Team – encompassing Engineers, BI Analysts, and Data Scientists – to the General Manager of your designated business area. You will be their go-to resource for any data-related queries, ensuring they have the support and information needed to succeed.
• • Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will work closely with other Insights Analysts within the Insights team, who are distributed across both India and the UK. This collaborative environment fosters knowledge sharing and ensures a unified approach to data analysis and insight generation.

• • Conduct thorough investigations into performance metrics, emerging trends, future forecasts, and identify any anomalies or bugs across a multitude of traffic sources and user journeys. You will then report your findings and provide strategic recommendations to key stakeholders.
• • Engage in close collaboration with product and development teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of their needs and requirements. You will be responsible for translating these business needs into precise technical data requirements for the engineering teams.
• • Provide essential support for reporting and ad-hoc data requests originating from the General Manager of your dedicated business area and their team members, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of information.
• • Drive the organization's evolution from basic reporting and analysis towards more advanced predictive and prescriptive analytics. This will be achieved by developing and deploying sophisticated data products designed to generate reusable and impactful insights.
• • Serve as the principal data liaison for your assigned business area. You will work directly with the General Manager and their team to meticulously gather requirements, strategically prioritize projects, and provide regular, transparent communication regarding project progress and outcomes.
• • Effectively communicate and articulate your findings and recommendations to a diverse audience, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple levels of seniority. This involves clearly answering questions and providing context for your data-driven conclusions.
• • Provide crucial support to your direct reports, alongside other senior members of the Insights team, in addressing technical queries and prioritizing work based on the tangible value it delivers to the business.
