📋 Description

• • Lead Mobile Engineer responsible for owning and driving the architecture, design, and delivery of native mobile applications for high-stakes digital assessments used by millions of students annually, ensuring extreme reliability, security, and performance at national scale.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and delivering scalable, secure mobile solutions leveraging native capabilities and cloud-native architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure), leading integration of OS-level and device features (permissions, networking, controls), establishing reusable mobile frameworks and engineering standards, driving CI/CD and DevOps practices for mobile, mentoring engineers, and influencing mobile strategy across iOS and Android platforms.
• • Part of the Deliver team within College Board’s mission-driven engineering organization, which builds and operates core products like Bluebook (student-facing exam app) and Mission Control (AWS-based backend) to support SAT and AP exams, while developing proctoring tools that monitor student progress, detect anomalies, and troubleshoot issues during live testing to ensure test integrity and educator confidence.
