📋 Description
- • Report directly to the Proposal Engineering Manager and support GVH programs, process development, documentation, and improvement initiatives.
- • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop technical inputs for new plant proposals, early works agreements, and new product developments.
- • Drive timely decision-making on technical issues related to the application of standard plant designs across diverse opportunities.
- • Prepare and lead technical write-ups, engineering estimates, and schedule development for proposals and early works projects.
- • Coordinate and expedite resolution of open technical issues and concerns across multiple engineering disciplines, project teams, and external partners.
- • Ensure on-time and within-budget delivery of design products and engineering deliverables for early works and new product initiatives.
- • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal engineering teams, business leaders, project managers, and key stakeholders.
- • Interface with external partners, customers, and regulatory agencies on technical matters as required for specific projects or jurisdictions.
- • Work with Advanced Application and functional engineering teams to build cost estimates, manage change orders, and respond to Corrective Actions.
- • Coordinate engineering interfaces across multidisciplinary teams to align technical deliverables and resolve conflicting requirements.
- • Support the planning, organization, and management of technical activities to meet engineering project milestones and deliverables.
- • Manage external engineering resources to ensure quality of deliverables, cost efficiency, and schedule flexibility.
- • Assist commercial and marketing teams in developing new business opportunities through technical proposal support and customer-facing documentation.
- • Protect GE Vernova Hitachi’s intellectual property rights through proper documentation and adherence to internal protocols.
- • Ensure all activities comply with GVH’s nuclear safety standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- • Maintain proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe software to create, modify, and manage technical documents and PDFs.
- • Demonstrate strategic thinking and leadership in balancing multiple competing priorities across concurrent projects.
- • Communicate technical concepts clearly and persuasively to senior leadership and cross-functional teams, both verbally and in writing.
- • Support the documentation and promotion of programs that enhance business knowledge, capability, and market positioning.
- • Operate in a remote capacity across the U.S., coordinating across geographic and organizational boundaries as needed.
