📋 Description

• As a Lead QA Automation Engineer at Kaseya Holdings Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping and elevating the quality of our cutting-edge IT infrastructure and security management solutions. You will be at the forefront of identifying and mitigating product risks through the strategic definition of comprehensive test automation plans and robust quality metrics. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will not only define and refine our Test Automation Frameworks (TAF) but also gain a deep understanding of our business and technical architecture. Your expertise will guide the prioritization of QA Automation team activities, ensuring alignment with both business objectives and technical imperatives.
• You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing sophisticated test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts across various levels of testing. This includes performing both manual and automated UI and API testing to meticulously identify defects and guarantee our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Your proactive approach will involve collaborating closely with development and product teams, providing critical feedback during code reviews, and ensuring testability is a core consideration from the outset.
• A key aspect of your role will be to manage product risks effectively, using this insight to prioritize testing efforts and allocate resources optimally. You will be involved in the entire testing lifecycle, from data creation and preparation for testing purposes to the in-depth analysis and interpretation of test results. Conducting thorough regression testing will be essential to ensure that resolved issues do not resurface, maintaining the stability and integrity of our software.
• You will play a vital role in monitoring and analyzing quality metrics, identifying trends, and proactively implementing corrective actions to drive continuous improvement in product quality. Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices will be a fundamental part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will champion continuous improvement initiatives, seeking ways to enhance our QA processes and practices, and staying abreast of the latest industry trends and advancements in quality assurance.
• As a leader, you will be tasked with raising product alerts when necessary and effectively distributing workload among QA Automation team members. You will define the strategic priorities for the QA Automation team, consolidate and share team results, and foster a culture of excellence. Your leadership will extend to mentoring, managing, and providing technical guidance and training to team members, nurturing their professional growth and ensuring the team's collective success.
• Your ability to understand the broader business context and technical architecture will enable you to make informed decisions regarding testing strategies and resource allocation. You will be a key advocate for quality throughout the organization, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to embed quality into every stage of the software development lifecycle.
• This role requires a deep understanding of various automation levels and techniques, including component, contract, and mutation testing, ensuring comprehensive test coverage. You will leverage your programming skills and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) experience to build and maintain efficient and scalable automation solutions. Your proactive communication and customer-centric perspective will ensure that the quality initiatives directly contribute to customer satisfaction and business success.
• You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating the main risks of our products by defining test Automation plans and strategies, always generating and analyzing product quality metrics. You will define and improve our TAF (Test Automation Frameworks), learn and understand the whole picture of the business and technical architecture to prioritize, from the business and technical perspective, the main activities of the QA Automation team members. The candidate must have broader experience in test automation levels, techniques, and tools. You will work closely with the development and product team members to prevent, identify, and resolve issues, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, coupled with 10+ years of progressive experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Proven experience in leading QA Automation Teams, managing projects, and mentoring team members, demonstrating strong leadership and people management capabilities.
• Extensive hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, GitHub/Bitbucket, and API testing tools (e.g., REST Assured), along with a strong understanding of UI testing frameworks and XPath knowledge.
• Proficiency in programming languages and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with experience in test runners (JUnit/TestNG), build tools (Gradle/Maven), CI/CD tools (TeamCity/Jenkins), and Docker.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including manual and automated testing practices, SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proactive communication and collaboration abilities, with a B2+ English level.
