  • As the Lead Recruiter, you will be instrumental in strategically scaling our organization by identifying and hiring top talent for critical roles that align with our overarching business objectives. Reporting directly to the VP, People, you will be an integral member of our dedicated two-person recruiting team. This role demands a high degree of adaptability and expertise, as you will manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for a diverse array of positions spanning both technical and non-technical domains. Your responsibilities will encompass every stage of the hiring process, from initial candidate sourcing and in-depth interviewing to meticulous scheduling and comprehensive reporting.
  • In the highly competitive health-tech landscape, your profound recruitment experience will be paramount in ensuring we attract and secure the exceptional talent necessary to propel our mission forward. You will be the driving force behind building out teams across various functions, including but not limited to Go-to-Market (GTM), Operations, Customer Success, Finance, Product, Engineering, and Enterprise Analytics. This requires a demonstrated ability to fluidly transition between understanding the nuances of technical roles and the requirements of non-technical positions.
  • You will independently manage all facets of the recruitment process. This includes developing and executing proactive sourcing strategies to identify and engage high-caliber candidates, conducting thorough screening and interviewing to assess qualifications and cultural fit, coordinating interview schedules efficiently, and expertly negotiating offers to secure top talent. A key aspect of your role will be implementing personalized and strategic sourcing methodologies, particularly for technical talent, ensuring a robust pipeline of candidates who not only possess the requisite skills but also deeply resonate with Stellar Health's mission and core values.
  • Leveraging data will be crucial for continuously identifying opportunities to streamline and enhance our recruiting processes, thereby boosting overall efficiency and effectiveness. You will cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with hiring managers and senior leadership to gain a deep understanding of their specific hiring needs, align recruitment strategies with departmental goals, and ensure a seamless and positive hiring experience for all stakeholders.
  • A critical component of your success will be your ability to proactively manage upwards, identifying and resolving bottlenecks within the recruitment process. This involves transparently communicating challenges, collaborating on innovative solutions, and ensuring timely progress towards hiring goals.
  • Staying abreast of the latest trends in technology and the competitive dynamics of the New York City and broader health-tech job markets is essential. This knowledge will empower you to refine your recruiting strategies, enhance our employer brand, and effectively attract and engage top-tier talent.
  • You will maintain an exceptionally high degree of accountability for your work, consistently meeting and exceeding recruitment targets. As Lead Recruiter, you are expected to be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys the challenge of managing a diverse portfolio of roles, and values the autonomy to own the full recruitment lifecycle while proactively seeking opportunities for process improvement. 🎯 Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a proven track record in fast-paced environments.
  • Prior experience utilizing Ashby for recruitment is required.
  • Intermediate Excel skills are highly preferred.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing demands effectively.
