📋 Description

• • Lead Software Engineer – Enterprise Observability: Drive the design, implementation, and evolution of Humana’s observability and logging platforms, ensuring scalable, resilient, and intelligent monitoring of distributed systems.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include architecting observability environments, building automation scripts and IaC tools, integrating observability into CI/CD pipelines, conducting code reviews, developing AI-native tools for autonomous issue detection, managing data routing and transformation, mentoring junior engineers, collaborating with SRE, Security, Networking, Platform Engineering, and Data Science teams, and communicating technical insights to leadership.
• • The Enterprise Observability Engineering team is a high-impact, high-autonomy group focused on building intelligent, scalable, and resilient observability solutions, fostering innovation, agility, and ownership while empowering engineers to solve complex problems and shape the future of system monitoring and operations.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in open telemetry, log ingestion, event correlation, AI/ML-driven observability, and cloud-native technologies while leading enterprise-scale initiatives, mentoring engineers, and influencing strategic observability maturity across Humana’s infrastructure.
