- • Lead Software Engineer (GoLang) role focused on building next-generation observability solutions for New Relic’s Infrastructure product organization, enabling customers to manage data pipelines at scale with real-time insights.
- • Design, build, maintain, and scale backend services and support tools; participate in innovative architectural definitions; create automation and tooling for scalability and deployment; work in multidisciplinary agile teams with DevOps practices including on-call rotations; research new tools and propose features to solve complex scenarios.
- • Join a global team of innovators shaping the future of observability in an AI-first world; work within New Relic’s Infrastructure product org developing instrumentation agents, data processing services, vulnerability management, and security testing for on-prem and cloud customers using a diverse tech stack including Go, Java, JavaScript, React, GraphQL, Kubernetes, and public cloud services.
- • Opportunity to own and build a set of next-generation services and capabilities; mentorship experience valued; grow expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms, and modern backend engineering while contributing to a flexible, inclusive workplace that supports remote, hybrid, or office-based work.
🎯 Requirements
- • 9+ years of hands-on experience with distributed systems, concurrency, and production-scale systems.
- • Strong proficiency in GoLang (primary language — non-negotiable).
- • Cloud platform knowledge — AWS, Azure, or GCP (at least one, deeply).
- • Proven track record of delivering production code in an Agile environment; collaborative engineer who drives shared code ownership.
- • Ability to design and implement distributed solutions for complex, real-world problems.
- • Frontend experience with React (basic level skill).
