📋 Description

• Lead complex, cross-functional technical programs spanning product launches, platform modernization, operational tooling, and strategic infrastructure initiatives at Dave Inc.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to define roadmaps, sequence priorities, and make trade-offs between features, scalability, and technical investments.
• Coordinate execution across multiple engineering squads and partner teams including Security, Infrastructure, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Risk, Analytics, and Operations to ensure alignment on dependencies, ownership, and delivery milestones.
• Drive large-scale transformation initiatives involving system migrations, process redesign, automation, and third-party integrations critical to Dave’s financial platform.
• Manage delivery partnerships with external vendors and financial institutions, proactively identifying risks and ensuring programs remain on schedule and within scope.
• Strengthen Agile delivery practices, CI/CD processes, governance frameworks, and program reporting standards to improve consistency and predictability of outcomes.
• Provide clear, actionable communication to senior leadership on program health, risks, trade-offs, and execution progress using data-driven insights.
• Mentor Technical Program Managers and cross-functional partners to elevate delivery discipline and operational maturity across the organization.
• Influence outcomes without direct authority by building trust, translating technical and regulatory complexity into business recommendations, and aligning stakeholders with divergent priorities.
• Shape and evolve Dave’s program management frameworks to support rapid scaling while maintaining reliability, security, and compliance in a highly regulated fintech environment.
• Enable faster time-to-market for new financial products—including the upcoming Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) offering—by optimizing cross-team workflows and removing systemic bottlenecks.
• Ensure technical solutions directly improve member experience by prioritizing speed, affordability, and accessibility in systems powering ExtraCash and future financial products.
• Utilize dashboards, analytics, and experimentation frameworks to measure program impact, inform decisions, and demonstrate value to product and executive stakeholders.
• Balance short-term execution needs with long-term scalability, ensuring systems and processes built today can support Dave’s growth into millions of additional users.
• Operate in a fast-evolving environment where priorities shift based on member feedback, market dynamics, regulatory changes, and data insights, requiring adaptability and sound judgment.
• Champion a member-centric approach by connecting technical delivery to real-world financial outcomes for Americans living paycheck to paycheck or underserved by traditional banks.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement across technical and non-technical teams through clear communication and constructive feedback.

🎯 Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 8–12+ years of experience leading large-scale, cross-functional technical programs in agile, high-growth environments
• Proven track record of bringing products or platforms from concept through launch in partnership with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams
• Strong technical acumen across modern software systems including mobile ecosystems, data pipelines, APIs, and platform infrastructure
• Experience managing external vendors and strategic partners across complex delivery programs
• Hands-on experience using dashboards, analytics, and experimentation frameworks to drive program decisions and measure outcomes
