- • As Lead Technical Recruiter, Product & Engineering (China), you will own end-to-end hiring for China-based engineering and product roles, with a strong focus on senior and high-signal candidates, directly impacting the quality and speed of technical hiring for a global AI product.
- • You will personally drive critical hires while setting standards for technical hiring quality, speed, and signal in China, managing the full recruitment lifecycle from intake through offer and onboarding support for engineering and product roles.
- • You will partner closely with founders, engineering leads, and product leadership to clarify requirements, maintain a high hiring bar, and source senior technical talent through China-native channels such as LinkedIn China, 脉脉, GitHub, referrals, technical communities, and targeted outbound.
- • You will screen candidates for technical depth, ownership mindset, execution strength, and learning ability, drive interview coordination and feedback loops with speed and clarity, maintain accurate hiring data and pipeline visibility, and help shape A1’s China technical hiring strategy including market mapping, talent benchmarking, and compensation signal.
- • You will work directly with founders and senior technical leaders in a flat structure where results matter more than titles, with high ownership and autonomy to build the founding China engineering team for a global AI product.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong experience in full-cycle technical recruitment in China
- • Proven track record hiring software engineers, ML engineers, product managers, or other technical roles
- • Deep familiarity with China’s technical talent market and sourcing channels
- • Strong intuition for technical profiles and how to assess real engineering capability
- • Fluent Mandarin; strong working English required
- • Comfortable working with ATS systems and hiring metrics
