  • • The Learning & Development Program Director at Equip Health Inc. will lead the strategy, design, coordination, and implementation of enterprise-wide learning and development initiatives, with a primary focus on leadership development across all organizational levels. This role is critical to building leadership capability that supports Equip’s mission of expanding access to evidence-based eating disorder treatment and sustaining a high-performing, inclusive culture.
  • • The person will own the end-to-end lifecycle of leadership development programs, including conducting needs assessments, designing curricula aligned with business strategy and adult learning principles, managing logistics, facilitating sessions (especially for senior leaders), training internal facilitators, and evaluating program effectiveness using both qualitative and quantitative metrics. They will also identify and manage external vendors and assessment tools as needed to ensure program quality and relevance.
  • • This role sits within the People Department and partners closely with senior leadership, People Success partners, and business stakeholders to ensure L&D initiatives are integrated into the broader talent and organizational strategy. The director will help translate organizational goals into measurable leadership capabilities and foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • • In this role, the individual will have the opportunity to shape and scale leadership development from the ground up in a fast-growing, mission-driven organization. They will gain deep experience in strategic L&D program design, executive facilitation, change management, and measuring the impact of development initiatives on business outcomes—all while contributing to a company recognized for its innovative approach to healthcare and workplace culture.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, Education, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • • 8+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or Talent Management, with a significant focus on designing and delivering leadership development programs across multiple levels, including senior leadership.
  • • Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end L&D program delivery, including needs assessment, curriculum design, facilitation, logistics, and evaluation, using both qualitative and quantitative data to measure impact.
  • • Strong program management skills, excellent communication and stakeholder influence abilities, and a self-starter mindset capable of building scalable programs in ambiguous environments.
  • • Prior experience in the healthcare industry is highly preferred.
