Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Join SFG20 as our Legal Counsel and become the architect of the commercial agreements that power the industry standard for building maintenance. Every clause you craft and every risk you mitigate directly enables safer, smarter buildings across the UK and beyond.
- • Own the full contract lifecycle for a diverse portfolio of SaaS, software-licensing, reseller, partnership, and enterprise customer agreements. You will draft, redline, and negotiate terms that protect SFG20’s interests while accelerating revenue and deepening strategic alliances.
- • Partner shoulder-to-shoulder with the Chief Revenue Officer and front-line sales managers. Translate complex legal concepts into pragmatic, deal-closing guidance that shortens sales cycles and boosts win rates.
- • Lead high-stakes negotiations with customers ranging from boutique FM consultancies to multinational property groups, plus technology vendors and channel partners. Your balanced, commercially astute approach will turn legal discussions into growth opportunities.
- • Expand SFG20’s global footprint by advising on cross-border agreements and ensuring compliance with multi-jurisdictional regulations. Your expertise will de-risk entry into new markets and support seamless international operations.
- • Build and continuously refine a library of gold-standard contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and approval workflows. These living assets will scale the legal function and empower non-legal colleagues to move faster without compromising quality.
- • Act as the linchpin between finance, product, and operations teams. Ensure every clause aligns with internal policies, revenue-recognition rules, and product-roadmap realities—turning legal review from a bottleneck into a catalyst.
- • Manage and mentor our in-house paralegal, fostering their growth while delegating effectively so you can focus on strategic matters. When specialist input is required, select and steer external counsel to deliver cost-effective, business-aligned advice.
- • Identify emerging legal and regulatory risks—data-protection shifts, AI governance, software-liability trends—and translate them into proactive policies that keep SFG20 ahead of the curve and our customers confident.
- • Champion a culture of compliance without red tape. Through training sessions and clear guidance, you will embed risk-awareness across sales, marketing, and customer-success teams, ensuring everyone becomes a guardian of SFG20’s reputation.
- • Measure success not only by contracts signed, but by the trust you build. Stakeholders will seek you out early for strategic input, confident that you will find the path that protects the business and delights the customer.
- • Thrive in a hybrid-first environment that values autonomy, mastery, and purpose. Whether you are refining a master service agreement at home or white-boarding a partnership structure in our Manchester hub, your impact will be visible in every safer, smarter building we help create.
