• Viseven Europe AG is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team in Kyiv. • In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in navigating the complex legal landscape of the MarTech and pharmaceutical industries. You will provide expert legal advice and support to Viseven's operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, mitigating risks, and safeguarding the company's interests.
• Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of legal matters, including but not limited to, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts. This includes client agreements, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, service level agreements (SLAs), and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). You will ensure that all contractual terms are favorable to Viseven, protect our intellectual property, and align with our business objectives.
• You will play a crucial role in advising on corporate governance matters, ensuring that Viseven adheres to best practices and regulatory requirements. This involves understanding and advising on company policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
• A significant part of your role will involve managing and mitigating legal risks across the organization. You will identify potential legal issues, assess their impact, and develop strategies to address them proactively. This includes advising on data privacy regulations (such as GDPR), intellectual property rights, and other compliance-related matters pertinent to the MarTech and Life Sciences sectors.
• You will be responsible for staying abreast of evolving legal and regulatory changes impacting the pharmaceutical and MarTech industries, both domestically and internationally. This proactive approach will enable you to provide timely and relevant counsel to senior management and other departments.
• Collaboration will be key. You will work closely with various internal teams, including sales, business development, product development, and finance, to provide legal guidance and support for their initiatives. You will translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable advice for non-legal stakeholders.
• You will also be involved in dispute resolution, handling any legal claims or disputes that may arise, and working towards efficient and favorable outcomes for the company. This may involve liaising with external counsel when necessary.
• Furthermore, you will contribute to the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures, ensuring that Viseven maintains a robust and effective legal framework. This includes assisting in the creation of standard legal templates and guidelines.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, intellectual property law, and data privacy regulations. Experience within the technology sector, particularly MarTech or SaaS, and familiarity with the pharmaceutical or life sciences industries would be highly advantageous.

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree in Law (or equivalent legal qualification).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in corporate law, contract law, and/or intellectual property law.
• Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
• Strong understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and their implications for technology companies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise legal advice.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
