  • • Serve as Legal Counsel for Anduril’s Air Defense and Counter-Intrusion Business Lines within the Frontier Systems Division, focusing exclusively on U.S. government contracts.
  • • Drive customer growth by executing new government contracts and expanding existing ones, leveraging expertise in federal procurement law to support Business Development, Proposal, and Engineering teams in capturing and structuring deals.
  • • Manage the full lifecycle of government acquisitions, including evaluating major proposals, monitoring large contracts, leading negotiations, identifying risks and mitigations, and ensuring compliance with federal laws, regulations, and policies.
  • • Build and maintain high-trust professional relationships with procurement office representatives at U.S. government agencies to advance Anduril’s mission and contract success.
  • • Provide legal counsel across diverse corporate matters including licensing agreements, service agreements, bid protests, litigation, intellectual property, compliance, and employment issues.
  • • Represent the Legal Team in interactions with outside counsel, vendors, engineers, executives, customers, and regulators, acting as a trusted legal advisor across the organization.
  • • Operate within a fast-paced, early-stage defense technology company where legal responsibilities evolve rapidly and require adaptability to new domains such as financing, securities, and export control.
  • • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align legal strategy with business objectives, ensuring rapid deployment of AI-powered defense technologies to U.S. and allied military forces.
  • • Contribute to the development of legal and business strategies that support Anduril’s mission to transform military capabilities through advanced autonomy, AI, computer vision, and sensor fusion technologies.
  • • Maintain strict adherence to U.S. export control requirements and handle sensitive information subject to national security restrictions.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 4+ years of experience working on U.S. Government contracts matters, preferably at a law firm or in-house at a government contractor
  • • Solid understanding of government procurement processes, including contract vehicles, types, non-traditional contracts, CAS coverage, software acquisition approaches, and data rights issues
  • • Licensed to practice law in California or Washington, D.C.
  • • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities
  • • Willing and able to work in-person at Anduril’s office; remote work is not available
  • • Strong judgment, initiative, communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
