- • Provide legal support to BlaBlaCar’s marketplace, bus, and train business teams on platform regulation, e-commerce, consumer protection, and commercial contracts under French and Ukrainian law.
- • Advise on legal risks and compliance matters arising from international expansion and high-speed growth of the tech-driven travel platform.
- • Collaborate closely with operational teams to understand product functionality and ensure legal alignment with business objectives.
- • Manage legal projects from inception to execution, demonstrating strong project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- • Report to the Head of Legal and work within a diverse, international legal team of approximately 10 members across BlaBlaCar’s global offices.
- • Contribute to the company’s mission of enabling sustainable travel by ensuring legal frameworks support innovation and scalability.
🎯 Requirements
- • Qualified lawyer with expertise in French and Ukrainian law, particularly in EU regulations, platform liability, e-commerce, and consumer protection.
- • Proven experience working as legal counsel in a technology or digital marketplace environment.
- • Strong ability to understand complex tech products and translate legal requirements into practical business guidance.
- • Demonstrated project management skills with experience leading cross-functional legal initiatives.
- • Fluency in French and English; Ukrainian language proficiency is a strong advantage.
- • Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, international, and remote-friendly tech company culture.
