- • Day-to-day responsibilities include advising on product development, feature launches, user experience, privacy, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance across Spotify’s global offerings.
- • Works closely with cross-functional product, engineering, design, and business teams to identify legal risks early and develop pragmatic solutions that support innovation.
- • Part of Spotify’s global Legal team, contributing to a culture of creativity, collaboration, and user-centric problem-solving in one of the world’s leading audio streaming platforms.
- • Opportunity to shape legal strategy for emerging products and features, gain deep expertise in technology law, and influence how legal supports breakthrough user experiences at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
- • Minimum 3+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house or at a law firm with technology, media, or internet clients.
- • Strong background in product counseling, including experience with privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), intellectual property, consumer protection, and digital advertising law.
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable advice for non-legal stakeholders.
- • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and work collaboratively across global teams.
