📋 Description

• Freelance Legal Expert role supporting DiliTrust’s AI-driven legal technology platform through project-based contract analysis.
• Annotate and categorize legal documents using annotation-based systems to enhance the accuracy and performance of AI models.
• Summarize complex legal contracts, identifying key clauses, obligations, parties, and temporal conditions.
• Extract and label critical elements from contracts including termination clauses, renewal terms, indemnity provisions, and jurisdictional details.
• Interact with AI-powered chatbot systems by validating outputs, correcting misclassifications, and providing feedback to improve natural language understanding.
• Work with a diverse portfolio of contracts spanning multiple jurisdictions, industries, and legal frameworks.
• Contribute to the enhancement of customer experience by ensuring AI-generated insights are legally accurate and contextually relevant.
• Collaborate with international teams across France, Spain, Italy, Canada, Mexico, and the MEA region to support global client needs.
• Operate in a fully remote environment with flexible scheduling aligned to project deadlines.
• Follow precise instructions and quality guidelines provided by the legal tech team to maintain consistency across annotations.
• Maintain high attention to detail when reviewing large volumes of contracts under time-sensitive project timelines.
• Actively ask clarifying questions when contract language is ambiguous or jurisdiction-specific rules are unclear.
• Engage with cutting-edge legal technology tools designed to automate contract lifecycle management and general meeting reporting.
• Participate in team feedback loops to refine annotation standards and improve AI training datasets.
• Support DiliTrust’s mission to become the first French legal tech unicorn by directly contributing to the quality of its core AI infrastructure.
• Work within a certified “Happy at Work” and “Tech at Work” environment that values collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
• No requirement for in-office presence; all work is conducted remotely with asynchronous communication.
• Projects vary in scope and duration, requiring adaptability and self-management in a freelance capacity.
• Exposure to real-world legal documents from 80% of major publicly traded companies across Europe, North America, and the Middle East.
• Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in legal tech innovation without requiring prior technical programming experience.

🎯 Requirements

• Professional proficiency in German
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Private Law (minimum Bac +3)
• Ability to read and analyze contracts
• Attention to detail and ability to follow clear instructions
• Passion for exploring new fields and industries
• Willingness to ask questions when instructions are unclear
