- • This part-time Leveraged Finance Associate role within the AI Residency program at Aptura Inc. offers a unique opportunity to apply deep corporate finance expertise to advance frontier AI models in investment banking and capital markets.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include generating, refining, and evaluating leveraged finance content such as LBO structures, debt capacity analyses, and term sheets to improve AI reasoning, working closely with AI researchers to translate human judgment into training data.
- • Aptura Inc. is founded by former Lazard and Partners Group professionals, headquartered in London and San Francisco, and specializes in integrating real-world finance knowledge into AI model training to bridge human and artificial intelligence.
- • The role provides rare early exposure to AI development processes, allowing the associate to contribute to structured research that enhances AI performance in complex financial transactions while refining their ability to articulate leveraged finance concepts with precision for technical audiences.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–7 years of experience in leveraged finance at a bulge bracket or elite boutique
- • Associate-level experience in LBO financing, acquisition financing, high yield, or leveraged loans
- • Deep expertise in leveraged finance structuring, debt capacity analysis, and capital structure optimization
- • Strong financial modeling skills including LBO, debt schedules, and covenant analysis
- • Ability to articulate leveraged finance judgment clearly and precisely in writing
