📋 Description

• This part-time AI residency role at Aptura Inc. focuses on improving how frontier AI models reason about corporate finance, specifically leveraged finance transactions, by applying real-world expertise to train and refine AI systems.
• The Leveraged Finance Associate will generate, refine, and evaluate content that mirrors how senior professionals think through LBOs, acquisition financing, high yield debt, and leveraged loans from structuring to execution and close.
• Aptura Inc. is founded by ex-Lazard and Partners Group professionals, headquartered in London and San Francisco, and specializes in bridging finance expertise with AI model training to close the gap between human judgment and artificial intelligence.
• In this role, you will gain rare early access to how AI labs develop models, contribute to structured research used to enhance AI reasoning in investment banking and capital markets, and sharpen your ability to articulate complex financial judgments in writing for AI training purposes.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in leveraged finance at a bulge bracket or elite boutique
• Associate-level experience in LBO financing, acquisition financing, high yield, or leveraged loans
• Deep expertise in leveraged finance structuring, debt capacity analysis, and capital structure optimization
• Strong financial modeling skills including LBO models, debt schedules, covenant analysis, and comfort with credit committee materials, lender presentations, and term sheet analysis
• Ability to articulate leveraged finance judgment clearly and precisely in writing
