  • • Are you a meticulous researcher with a passion for untangling complex regulatory landscapes and building robust knowledge systems? Propelus Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Licensing Data Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will become the internal authority on the 330+ state licensing boards and regulatory agencies that form the backbone of our primary source verification (PSV) services across our renowned brands: EverCheck, CE Broker, and Data Solutions. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your research prowess and data management skills to directly impact the efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of healthcare compliance for millions of professionals and organizations.
  • • At Propelus, we are dedicated to simplifying workforce compliance management in the healthcare industry. For over two decades, we have been at the forefront of innovation, using cutting-edge technology and strategic partnerships to create a seamless and efficient healthcare ecosystem. Our mission is to bring more good into the lives of those serving healthcare, and a significant part of that involves ensuring the integrity of professional credentials through rigorous Primary Source Verification (PSV). As our Licensing Data Operations Specialist, you will be instrumental in maintaining and expanding this vital service.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to conduct in-depth research into each of the 330+ state licensing boards and regulatory agencies. This involves identifying the specific licenses they issue, understanding their unique verification methodologies, and pinpointing the exact data points required by our Engineering team to develop and enhance automated verification tools. You will meticulously investigate each board's website, explore available data files, assess API capabilities, and document all relevant technical specifications and nuances. This deep dive will enable us to build and maintain the most comprehensive and accurate verification processes in the industry.
  • • A core component of this role is the creation and maintenance of a centralized, authoritative knowledge hub. You will utilize tools like Notion to build and manage a repository that serves as the single source of truth for all licensing board information. This hub will encompass detailed technical specifications, comprehensive change logs to track updates and modifications, essential board contact information, and specific data nuances that are critical for accurate verification. By formalizing this scattered knowledge into a structured, accessible, and easily navigable resource, you will empower our Product, Engineering, and Government Excellence teams with the information they need to succeed.
  • • Beyond research and documentation, you will play a key role in strategic prioritization. Collaborating closely with the Verification Technical Program Manager and the Government Excellence team, you will help evaluate potential outreach opportunities and determine which primary sources offer the greatest value to our customers. This strategic input will guide our efforts to expand our verification capabilities and enhance our service offerings.
  • • This position also involves significant cross-functional support and communication. You will serve as the internal subject matter expert, readily available to answer questions from various departments regarding verification sources, data points, and any specific quirks associated with particular licensing boards. You will partner with our Technical Support and Client Success teams to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues that are directly related to verification sources or data findings, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Furthermore, you will support and facilitate communication between Propelus and external licensing boards, acting as a liaison to address data discrepancies, troubleshoot integration challenges, and implement new data integrations.
  • • While you will own the critical research and knowledge management functions, you will be part of a highly collaborative and supportive network. Your direct manager, the Verification Technical Program Manager, will provide technical training, guidance, and ensure alignment with our overall roadmap. You will also work closely with the Government Excellence & External Affairs teams, who are instrumental in state board outreach and building strong, lasting relationships with these crucial entities. This collaborative environment ensures you have the resources and support needed to excel in your role and make a significant impact on Propelus's mission to simplify healthcare compliance.
