- • The Licensing Specialist supports employed and contracted behavioral health practitioners in obtaining and maintaining their licensure and prescriptive authority, playing a critical role in ensuring providers are legally authorized to deliver care across state lines.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include performing initial and renewal state licensing for providers, researching state-specific requirements to ensure accuracy, notifying and assisting with license renewals, maintaining timely and accurate processing of applications, communicating proactively with stakeholders on license statuses, monitoring applications to prevent delays, ensuring compliance with state requirements for multi-state licensure, and handling confidential information with discretion.
