  • • As the inaugural Lifecycle Marketer at Kovo Credit Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping and executing our customer engagement strategy from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to be the first dedicated hire in this critical function, offering unparalleled ownership and the chance to build sophisticated, AI-native marketing systems within an early-stage, high-growth startup.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to own and evolve Kovo’s comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategy. This encompasses all customer touchpoints across email, push notifications, and in-app messaging, guiding users seamlessly from their initial onboarding experience through to sustained engagement and eventual reactivation.
  • • A core tenet of this role is to pioneer AI-native workflows and tooling. You will be empowered to explore, implement, and optimize cutting-edge AI solutions to create marketing systems that are not only faster and more intelligent but also deliver a level of personalization previously unattainable with traditional methods.
  • • You will be expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, driving clarity and defining processes in areas where they may not yet exist. This involves proactively identifying needs, proposing solutions, and building a robust marketing function that scales with the company’s ambitious growth trajectory.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve auditing and optimizing existing lifecycle programs. You will meticulously analyze current performance, identify key opportunities to enhance user activation, deepen engagement, improve retention rates, and ultimately maximize long-term customer value.
  • • You will design and scale sophisticated event-driven lifecycle programs. This means building automated, personalized messaging triggered by specific user behaviors and product interactions, ensuring timely and relevant communication at every stage of the customer journey.
  • • A key technical responsibility will be to build and maintain a modular email design system or library. Leveraging modern tools, including AI-assisted HTML generation and frameworks like React Email, you will significantly increase the speed and quality of email campaign development.
  • • Collaboration will be essential. You will partner closely with Product and Data teams to ensure that lifecycle messaging is seamlessly integrated with product events and user behavior data, creating a cohesive and data-informed customer experience.
  • • You will own conversion rate optimization (CRO) across lifecycle channels. This includes defining the experimentation framework, prioritizing and sequencing A/B tests for messaging and web conversion flows, and rigorously documenting all learnings to inform future strategies.
  • • You will actively explore and implement AI-powered workflows and proactive messaging agents. The goal is to enhance personalization, drive cross-sell opportunities, and facilitate product discovery, leveraging AI to unlock new possibilities for customer engagement.
  • • Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for lifecycle marketing will be crucial. You will continuously monitor performance, analyze results, and optimize campaigns to achieve measurable improvements against defined goals.
