- • Linguist - Afrikaans - Education | Training Material - Remote: Translate and refine educational and training content between English and Afrikaans, ensuring cultural nuance, accuracy, and contextual relevance for digital platforms.
- • What the person will do day to day: Translate content, edit and refine language for tone and clarity, apply language standards and best practices, evaluate and provide feedback to improve language model quality, collaborate with production and cross-functional teams on localization, support content development and QA for digital tools, and perform transcreation when needed to ensure natural target-language expression.

🎯 Requirements
- • Native-level proficiency in Afrikaans
- • Graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies OR a graduate degree in another field plus 2 years of full-time professional translation experience OR 5 years of full-time professional translation experience
- • Ability to follow terminology and reference materials precisely
