- • This role is for a highly skilled Hawaiian linguist who will contribute to cutting-edge AI and language technology by translating and refining content between English and Hawaiian, preserving cultural nuance and supporting the development of multilingual AI systems.
- • Day to day, the linguist will translate and edit content for accuracy, tone, and contextual relevance; apply current language standards and usage trends; evaluate and provide structured feedback to improve language model quality; collaborate with production and cross-functional teams on localization; support content development and QA for digital tools; and perform transcreation when needed to ensure natural, culturally appropriate output.

🎯 Requirements
- • Native-level proficiency in Hawaiian
- • Recognized graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies OR a graduate qualification in any field plus two years of full-time professional translation experience OR five years of full-time professional translation experience
- • Ability to apply current language standards, usage trends, and best practices to deliverables
