- • Day-to-day responsibilities include translating and editing content, applying language standards and best practices, evaluating language model quality through structured feedback, collaborating with production and cross-functional teams for localization, supporting content development and QA for digital tools, and performing transcreation when needed to ensure natural, culturally appropriate output in Maori.

🎯 Requirements
- • Native-level proficiency in Maori
- • Graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies OR a graduate degree in another field plus 2 years of full-time professional translation experience OR 5 years of full-time professional translation experience
- • Ability to follow terminology and reference materials precisely
- • Reliable availability and commitment to deliver quality work on time, with most tasks requiring a minimum of 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week
