Live Ops Specialist

📋 Description

• • Build and configure Modo Boxes including contents, drop rates, eligibility rules, schedules, and player-facing copy based on briefs from the Live Ops Lead and cross-functional stakeholders
• • Perform QA on every Modo Box prior to launch to ensure accuracy, functionality, and compliance with design and economic parameters
• • Create and maintain catalog items (both physical and virtual) that feed into Modo Boxes, ensuring clean metadata and properly calibrated economy values
• • Organize and audit the catalog to prevent duplication, staleness, or loss of items, maintaining system integrity and efficient asset management
• • Validate mathematical configurations and economic balances on every box build to avoid inconsistencies in player rewards or virtual currency flow
• • Proactively identify and flag issues such as incorrect drop rates, broken eligibility conditions, conflicting events, or ambiguous briefs before deployment
• • Coordinate closely with Live Ops Lead, Design, Product, and Engineering teams to align on requirements, resolve dependencies, and ensure seamless execution
• • Track post-launch performance metrics of deployed boxes and analyze results to generate data-informed recommendations for future iterations
• • Develop and refine checklists, templates, and documentation to standardize processes, reduce errors, and improve team efficiency across live ops workflows
• • Maintain strict attention to detail in high-volume, time-sensitive environments where precision directly impacts player experience and revenue
• • Demonstrate initiative in questioning unclear or flawed briefs and proposing improvements to enhance clarity, fairness, and operational effectiveness
• • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by sharing insights, best practices, and lessons learned across the live ops and product teams
• • Manage multiple concurrent box builds without sacrificing accuracy or schedule adherence, prioritizing tasks based on launch deadlines and impact
• • Ensure all player-facing copy is accurate, on-brand, and free of errors before publication
• • Uphold a proactive problem-solving mindset by anticipating edge cases and potential failure points in configuration workflows
• • Collaborate across departments to resolve conflicts between game mechanics, economic systems, and promotional events
• • Maintain version control and audit trails for all configuration changes to enable traceability and rollback if needed
