- • This is a full-time position that requires the ability to manage multiple assignments in a challenging environment.
- • The Privileging Specialist will report directly to the Supervisor, Privileging and Onboarding, and will be responsible for timely and accurate privileging of physicians and CRNAs within NAPA’s Locums program.
- • Essential duties and responsibilities include ensuring new hires start timely, coordinating with onboarding specialist and hospital/office-based locations, and completing reappointments timely.
- • The Privileging Specialist will establish long-term positive relationships with Medical Staff Offices, send notifications communicating any estimated start date changes, and ensure accurate data of all privileging information and data entry into database.
- • The role also involves submitting staff dues and other fees for approval and payment, running weekly status reports on all providers pending privileges, and providing privileging reports to upper management, site chiefs, and external departments.
- • The Privileging Specialist will be responsible to attend virtual regional meetings, review daily exception reports to ensure and maintain database quality, load and maintain privileging letters into database, and serve as a resource to internal departments, providers, and outside agencies.
- • The role also involves monthly reporting, administrative duties, and other department projects as assigned.
