📋 Description

• M&A Associate, AI Residency (Part-time) at Aptura Inc., a company founded by ex-Lazard and Partners Group professionals, focused on integrating real-world finance expertise into AI model training to bridge human and artificial intelligence.
• The role involves contributing M&A advisory experience to a structured research project aimed at improving Frontier AI’s reasoning in investment banking and capital markets, including generating, refining, and evaluating content that reflects how M&A professionals think through deals from pitching to execution and close.
• Aptura brings together finance and AI innovation, with headquarters in London and San Francisco, offering a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of corporate finance and cutting-edge AI development.
• You will gain rare, early exposure to how AI labs develop models, refine your ability to articulate complex M&A judgment in writing, and directly influence how AI understands financial decision-making processes.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in M&A advisory at a recognized advisory firm (bulge bracket, elite boutique, or top-tier Big 4 Corporate Finance)
• Associate level with hands-on deal execution experience
• Deep expertise in buy-side and sell-side M&A, valuation, and due diligence coordination
• Strong financial modeling skills (incl. DCF, LBO, trading comps, precedent transactions) and comfort with CIMs, management presentations, and board materials
• Ability to articulate M&A judgment clearly and precisely in writing
