📋 Description
- • As a Machine Learning Engineer at Twilio, you will drive innovation in the Data & Observability Substrate organization by developing scalable, low-latency ML systems that power real-time applications like anomaly detection, recommendation systems, and agentic AI frameworks for developers and businesses worldwide.
- • Your day-to-day includes partnering with product, UX, and technical teams to define ML problem statements, designing and deploying production-grade ML solutions, building reproducible workflows with MLOps tools, implementing monitoring and feedback loops, and owning operational excellence through SLAs, on-call duties, and incident response.
- • You’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, architects, product managers, designers, and data science partners to deliver robust, compliant ML-powered services that enhance customer success and enable personalized experiences at scale.
- • This role offers the opportunity to lead research-to-production cycles, deepen expertise in MLOps and cloud-native ML systems, influence product direction through technical leadership, and grow your impact in AI-driven systems while working remotely within a culture of inclusion and innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong foundation in ML/AI (statistics, probability, optimization) with ability to apply to real-world problems
- • 5+ years of experience building, deploying, and operating data and ML systems in production
- • Proficient in Python, Java, and SQL; strong software engineering fundamentals (system design, testing, version control, code reviews)
- • Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration (e.g., Airflow, Kubeflow) and cloud data platforms (e.g., SageMaker, Snowflake, DynamoDB)
- • Experience with ML lifecycle and MLOps tooling (e.g., MLflow, Metaflow, SageMaker; LangChain/LangGraph; model observability tools like Galileo)
- • Working knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD (Argo CD), and at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
