- • As a Manager of Account Managers for Ramp’s Mid-Market segment, you will lead a high-performing team of 5–8 individual contributors responsible for managing a portfolio of ~150 customers each, driving revenue growth, retention, and product adoption through strategic account ownership and cross-functional collaboration. This role is critical to scaling Ramp’s impact in the mid-market, where customer success directly fuels the company’s mission to automate and optimize $100B+ in annualized business spend.
- • You will set the tone for team culture and morale by coaching, mentoring, and developing your Account Managers through daily 1:1s, skill-based coaching, call feedback analysis, and enablement sessions, while also engaging directly with top-tier customers to deepen relationships and uncover expansion opportunities.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing quota performance, tracking key metrics such as spend activation, product activation, retention, and customer health, forecasting results to senior leadership, and continuously improving team efficiency by refining processes, systems, and sales motions in partnership with Product, Operations, Risk, and Marketing.
- • You will lead hiring and onboarding efforts for new Account Managers, designing training programs that cover Ramp’s product suite, buyer personas, competitive landscape, and sales tools using methodologies like role-plays and game film review, while also building individualized career development and leadership plans to foster long-term growth and retention.
- • As a member of the sales leadership team, you will represent the Account Management function in cross-functional initiatives, helping to shape Ramp’s go-to-market strategy and ensure alignment across departments to deliver a seamless customer experience.
