- • The Engineer II, Quality Assurance role at NextGen Healthcare focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of the NGMS Mobile platform by building scalable automation frameworks and validating mobile, web, and API-based workflows in a healthcare environment.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and maintaining automation frameworks for iOS/Android and web applications, developing test scripts using Selenium, Appium, and RestAssured, performing API and regression testing, validating healthcare workflows using HL7 and FHIR standards, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git), collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams, analyzing test results, identifying defects, and continuously improving test coverage.
- • The role is part of NextGen Healthcare’s quality engineering team, which supports the delivery of reliable healthcare technology solutions through robust testing practices in an Agile, continuous delivery environment.
- • The engineer will gain hands-on experience with modern automation tools, AI-assisted testing techniques, healthcare interoperability standards, and cloud-based testing platforms, while contributing to innovation in test automation and quality assurance within a mission-driven healthcare technology company.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–6 years of experience in QA Automation
- • Strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript
- • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, and TestNG/JUnit
- • Experience in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools
- • Solid understanding of mobile application testing (Android/iOS)
- • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and version control systems like Git
