Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) strategy for a multi-state portfolio of acute-care hospitals and physician practices, ensuring cash acceleration, denial reduction, and net-revenue integrity in a 100 % remote, high-growth environment.
- • Lead, coach, and develop a distributed team of 25–35 AR specialists, analysts, and supervisors across Epic, Cerner, and Meditech platforms; establish daily huddles, weekly KPI reviews, and monthly calibration sessions to drive a culture of continuous improvement and Best-in-KLAS performance.
- • Design and execute data-driven action plans that reduce aged AR over 90 days to <12 % of total AR and achieve cash-to-net-revenue ratios above 105 %, leveraging Ensemble’s proprietary analytics suite, robotic process automation (RPA), and payer-specific rules engines.
- • Partner with Patient Access, Health Information Management, Coding, and Payer Contracting teams to identify upstream revenue leakage; translate root-cause findings into scalable process fixes that eliminate recurring denials and underpayments.
- • Serve as the escalation point for high-dollar commercial, governmental, and self-pay accounts; negotiate directly with payers, initiate appeals, and secure maximum allowable reimbursements while maintaining strict compliance with CMS, HIPAA, and state regulations.
- • Own the monthly close process for AR reserves, bad-debt provisioning, and charity care write-offs; present variance analyses and trend reports to VP of Revenue Cycle and hospital CFOs, translating complex data into actionable insights that influence executive decision-making.
- • Drive technology adoption by championing Ensemble’s AI-powered denial-prediction models and real-time dashboards; train staff on new workflows, monitor adoption metrics, and iterate rapidly to sustain a 10 % year-over-year productivity gain.
- • Represent Ensemble in client QBRs (quarterly business reviews), payer summits, and HFMA chapter events; showcase AR performance wins, share best practices, and strengthen Ensemble’s reputation as a thought leader in revenue cycle excellence.
- • Foster an inclusive, high-engagement culture that embodies Ensemble’s O.N.E Purpose—Customer Obsession, Embracing New Ideas, and Striving for Excellence—by mentoring emerging leaders, sponsoring associate resource groups, and celebrating wins through quarterly and annual recognition programs.
- • Ensure enterprise-wide compliance with SOX, internal audit, and external payer audits; maintain meticulous documentation, lead corrective-action plans, and achieve zero material weaknesses in financial controls.
