📋 Description
- • Lead and manage a team of AI Deployment Engineers in Korea, responsible for ensuring the safe, scalable, and effective deployment of Generative AI applications for enterprise and technology customers.
- • Own the strategic direction and operating model of the AI Deployment Engineering team in Korea, aligning team goals with OpenAI’s broader objectives and evolving customer needs in the region.
- • Serve as the primary technical advocate for strategic customers, translating their business challenges into technical requirements and driving end-to-end implementation of GenAI solutions such as automated content generation and customer service applications.
- • Act as the key escalation point for technical challenges during customer implementations, maintaining direct communication with executive-level stakeholders to build trust and ensure successful outcomes.
- • Mentor and develop high-performing technical team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences, measured by the number of production-grade applications launched and increased API adoption rates.
- • Synthesize customer feedback and technical insights to inform and influence the Research and Applied Product/Engineering roadmaps, ensuring OpenAI’s offerings align with real-world deployment needs in Korea.
- • Drive the successful integration of OpenAI’s AI platforms into complex customer environments, leveraging deep knowledge of cloud architecture, network infrastructure, and enterprise software systems.
- • Champion the safe, responsible, and innovative application of Generative AI across industries in Korea, positioning OpenAI as a trusted thought leader in the local AI ecosystem.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and sales teams to ensure a consistent, seamless customer journey from initial engagement through post-deployment support.
- • Build and maintain relationships with C-level technical and business leaders at global technology and software companies operating in Korea, managing complex, multi-stakeholder engagements.
- • Demonstrate strong communication skills by translating highly technical concepts into accessible language for diverse audiences, including non-technical executives and engineering teams.
- • Foster a culture of humility, continuous learning, and customer-centric problem solving within the team, encouraging team members to acquire new skills and knowledge to better serve customers.
- • Ensure deployments adhere to safety, security, and ethical guidelines for AI, reflecting OpenAI’s mission to ensure general-purpose AI benefits all of humanity.
- • Work from the Seoul office three days per week under a hybrid work model, with occasional travel as needed for customer meetings, industry events, or team alignment.
- • Represent OpenAI at industry forums, customer workshops, and technical conferences in Korea to increase visibility, gather market intelligence, and strengthen community engagement around responsible AI deployment.
