📋 Description

• Manager, Clinical Data/Medical Science role at Syneos Health, a leading fully-integrated life sciences services organization, responsible for driving customer success and accelerating drug development through expert clinical solutions.
• Day to day: Manages performance and daily activities of multifunctional team members to ensure quality deliverables and compliance with KPIs; proactively communicates and manages customer issues through escalation channels; drives revenue by attracting, selecting, and retaining talent; provides line management including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning; verifies training adherence and identifies training needs; provides administrative oversight of HR processes, timecards, and expense reports; reviews workload and utilization; supports professional development through coaching and delegation; promotes engagement, retention, and DEI through inclusive behaviors and bias mitigation.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of five years of progressive clinical research experience preferred, with experience in line management of clinical research staff
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, nursing, or equivalent related experience, plus extensive clinical research experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology company, including some time in a leadership capacity
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills (written and spoken) with ability to inform, influence, convince, and persuade
• Strong time management, technical, and organizational skills; ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Creative problem solver who is self-motivated, flexible, open to change, collaborative, and possesses a customer-centric mindset
• Knowledge of basic financial concepts related to forecasting and budgeting; good computer skills and ability to embrace new technologies
