- • Serve as the dedicated People Operations lead for Kong’s China-based employee population, providing end-to-end HR support in Mandarin Chinese to ensure compliance, clarity, and cultural alignment.
- • Draft, translate, and review all employee-facing HR documentation in Mandarin Chinese, including employment contracts, offer letters, addenda, and policy communications, ensuring legal accuracy and consistency with global templates.
- • Manage the full end-to-end signature collection process for employment agreements and HR documents, coordinating with local stakeholders to secure timely, compliant execution across China.
- • Track and coordinate contract renewal timelines for China-based employees, partnering with HR Business Partners and Legal teams to proactively identify and mitigate risks prior to expiration.
- • Support the complete employee lifecycle—from onboarding to offboarding—for China-based staff, ensuring seamless, consistent, and well-documented experiences at every stage.
- • Accurately enter, update, and maintain employee data in Workday across all lifecycle events, including new hires, role changes, promotions, and terminations, to ensure data integrity and timely processing.
- • Act as the primary Mandarin-speaking point of contact for day-to-day HR inquiries, providing clear guidance on policies, benefits, documentation, and procedural questions for China-based employees.
- • Support talent acquisition efforts by scheduling interviews and communicating with China-based candidates in Mandarin, enhancing candidate experience and responsiveness during the hiring process.
- • Ensure all HR operations in China adhere to local labor laws and regulations while aligning with global People Operations standards and best practices.
- • Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee information, including personal data, compensation details, and contractual terms.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Talent Acquisition, and Global People Operations teams to harmonize local practices with global frameworks.
- • Utilize BestSign as the primary platform for electronic document execution and ensure all team members are trained and compliant in its use.
- • Maintain proficiency in Google Workspace and other HR tools to support efficient communication, document sharing, and administrative workflows.
- • Proactively identify process improvements in China HR operations and recommend enhancements to increase efficiency, reduce risk, and improve employee experience.
- • Stay current on evolving labor regulations in China and communicate updates to internal stakeholders and employees in a timely and clear manner.
