- • Manager of Clinician Appeals is a clinical leader responsible for strategic oversight and operational execution of appeals letter writing and client education engagement, ensuring clinical accuracy, compliance, and alignment with financial goals in a dynamic revenue cycle environment.
- • Day to day, the role involves leading high-performing clinical teams in developing persuasive appeal communications to payers, managing hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of clinical writers, enforcing quality and productivity standards, and serving as a subject-matter expert in client meetings and escalations.

- • The person can learn and achieve mastery in revenue cycle operations, clinical documentation improvement (CDI), DRG validation, payer appeals processes, and global team leadership while driving process improvements that increase clinical team productivity without compromising quality or clinical integrity.
🎯 Requirements
- • RN, MD or DO license required; active, unrestricted medical license preferred
- • Minimum 8+ years of clinical experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role within appeals, utilization management, CDI, or similar RCM functions
- • Strong knowledge of payer appeals processes, healthcare regulations, and documentation standards
- • Proven experience developing QA programs and implementing clinical workflow improvements
- • Strong understanding of financial models and operational KPIs in the revenue cycle industry
- • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
