- • Design, schedule, and deliver a catalog of live training sessions for customer stakeholders including SOC analysts and security executives, aligned to customer lifecycle stages: onboarding, adoption, expansion, and renewal
- • Build and maintain reusable training materials including session templates, facilitator guides, and post-session resources to ensure scalability and consistency
- • Track attendance, completion rates, and engagement metrics for live training, using feedback and outcome data to iterate and improve program effectiveness
- • Architect and launch a scalable self-service education program featuring on-demand video content, a knowledge base, certification tracks, or a formal LMS
- • Create on-demand learning content mapped to Tenex’s four GTM motions and customer maturity levels, ensuring alignment with platform evolution through collaboration with Product and Marketing teams
- • Define and measure success metrics for self-service learning including content engagement, course completion rates, time-to-competency, and correlation with customer retention
- • Build internal enablement programs for customer-facing teams including CSMs, Field Delivery Engineers, and Implementation Engineers, covering onboarding, ongoing skills development, and product knowledge upskilling
- • Partner with organizational leaders to identify skill gaps and design targeted training interventions to close them
- • Develop internal toolkits such as talk tracks, objection handling guides, capability briefs, and playbook walkthroughs to standardize customer interactions
- • Instrument enablement effectiveness using leading indicators like ramp time, QBR quality scores, and manager assessments to demonstrate impact
- • Design the foundational L&D operating model for Tenex as the company scales, including governance, tooling, content taxonomy, and measurement framework
- • Make strategic decisions on build-vs-buy-vs-partner for LMS and content tooling, leading vendor evaluation and rollout
- • Establish a content governance process to ensure accuracy, freshness, and brand consistency across all learning materials
- • Advise senior leadership on L&D investment priorities based on headcount growth, customer volume, and business objectives
- • Own end-to-end delivery of customer education and enablement initiatives with direct reporting to the VP of Customer Success
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Field Delivery teams to align education strategy with company GTM objectives
- • Build programs from scratch — not merely inherit or run existing ones — in a high-growth startup environment with limited precedent
- • Translate complex technical concepts into accessible learning experiences for both technical SOC analysts and strategic CISO audiences
- • Operate with comfort in ambiguity, defining problems as often as solving them, and demonstrating a bias toward action in a fast-moving environment
- • Use data fluency to build trusted reporting that links training outcomes to business metrics such as retention and CSM effectiveness
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years in customer education, training, enablement, or instructional design role — ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise tech
- • Demonstrated experience building education programs from scratch, not just inheriting and running existing ones
- • Ability to develop content across modalities: live facilitation, on-demand video, written knowledge base, certification frameworks
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills — ability to translate technical concepts for security analysts and strategic concepts for CISOs
- • Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action — defining problems as often as solving them
- • Data fluency: ability to measure training effectiveness and build leadership-trusted reporting
