- • Manage the secure collection, standardization, and aggregation of sensitive patient data from multiple internal and external systems to support clinical, operational, and research initiatives for life sciences clients.
- • Ensure all data handling practices comply with HISEC-compliant (High Security) protocols and adhere to strict data privacy regulations, including de-identification methodologies such as tokenization and expert determination.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, compliance officers, clinical analysts, and client success managers to align data aggregation workflows with client requirements and regulatory standards.
- • Validate data integrity and consistency across aggregated sources, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain high-quality, actionable datasets for client use.
- • Implement and maintain documentation for data ingestion pipelines, transformation rules, and security controls to ensure audit readiness and operational transparency.
- • Monitor data flows for anomalies or unauthorized access attempts, initiating corrective actions in alignment with HISEC security policies and incident response procedures.
- • Work directly with proprietary and third-party technology platforms used to manage medical and commercial data, ensuring seamless integration and accurate data mapping.
- • Support the design and optimization of data architectures that enable efficient reporting, forecasting, and customer insight generation for life sciences clients.
- • Participate in client-facing discussions to understand data needs, translate requirements into technical specifications, and deliver tailored data aggregation solutions.
- • Stay current with evolving U.S. pharmaceutical data standards, HIPAA guidelines, and industry best practices for handling protected health information (PHI).
- • Train and mentor junior team members on secure data handling procedures, de-identification techniques, and compliance protocols within the HISEC environment.
- • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all data aggregation activities meet contractual obligations and regulatory expectations across U.S. healthcare datasets.
- • Maintain detailed logs of data sources, transformation steps, access permissions, and data lineage to support traceability and audit requirements.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data aggregation tools and workflows by identifying inefficiencies and proposing scalable, secure enhancements.
- • Ensure all aggregated patient data is stored, transmitted, and processed using encrypted channels and approved secure infrastructure.
- • Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding data availability, quality, and compliance status for patient datasets.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in aggregating and standardizing sensitive patient data in U.S. pharmaceutical or life sciences contexts
- • Expertise in data de-identification methodologies including tokenization and expert determination
- • Demonstrated knowledge of HISEC-compliant environments and high-security data handling protocols
- • Familiarity with HIPAA, PHI, and other U.S. healthcare data privacy regulations
- • Experience working with proprietary or third-party platforms for medical and commercial data management
- • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams including compliance, engineering, and client-facing roles
