• As the Manager, Data Science (ML Focus), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our machine learning strategy, driving innovation, and delivering impactful data-driven solutions for our diverse clientele.

• Your responsibilities will span the entire machine learning lifecycle, from problem definition and data exploration to model development, deployment, and ongoing monitoring and optimization.
• You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and business stakeholders, to ensure that our data science initiatives are aligned with business objectives and deliver tangible value.
• This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership skills to guide projects from conception to successful implementation.

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of sophisticated machine learning models and algorithms to address critical business needs, such as predictive modeling, anomaly detection, natural language processing, computer vision, and recommendation systems.
• Oversee the end-to-end machine learning project lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of solutions that meet client expectations and business requirements.
• Mentor and guide a team of data scientists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment, and supporting their professional development through coaching, feedback, and training opportunities.
• Translate complex technical concepts and findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership and client stakeholders.
• Drive the continuous improvement of our data science methodologies, tools, and best practices, promoting a culture of innovation, learning, and knowledge sharing.
• Partner with business leaders and product managers to identify strategic opportunities where data science and machine learning can create significant business impact and competitive advantage.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique challenges and objectives, and ensuring that our data science solutions are tailored to their specific needs.
• Contribute to the growth and development of Resultant's data science practice by participating in business development activities, proposal writing, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Ensure the ethical and responsible use of data and machine learning models, adhering to all relevant privacy regulations and company policies.
• Champion data governance and quality initiatives to ensure the integrity and reliability of data used for model development and deployment.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, platforms, and tools to enhance our data science capabilities and operational efficiency.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Foster a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
• Proactively identify potential risks and challenges in data science projects and develop mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to the recruitment and onboarding of new data science talent, helping to build and scale the team.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to maintain Resultant's position at the forefront of data science innovation.
• Empower the team to take ownership of their work, encouraging creativity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the data science team and other departments, ensuring alignment and shared understanding.
• Drive the adoption of MLOps best practices to streamline model deployment, monitoring, and management.
• Develop and implement strategies for model interpretability and explainability, particularly in regulated industries.
• Contribute to the development of reusable components and frameworks to accelerate the development of future machine learning solutions.
• Ensure that all data science work adheres to the highest standards of scientific rigor and ethical conduct.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to colleagues across the organization on data science and machine learning-related topics.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in leading and managing data science teams, with a strong track record of delivering successful machine learning projects.
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques, with hands-on experience in their application.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science, such as Python or R, and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, pandas, NumPy).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their associated data science and machine learning services.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
